Dr. Chandra Lebenhagen is the founder and Executive Director of Including Autism. She received her doctorate in Curriculum and Learning from the University of Calgary. For over 20 years, she has worked as a teacher and inclusion consultant in K-12 settings and instructed graduate-level courses at several Canadian universities. Dr. Chandra offers informative presentations and in-school support on various topics important to jurisdictional leaders, educators, practitioners, and scholars. She uses a multi-disciplinary perspective to inform her work that,, includingincludingpracticesincludes critical disability theory, learning theory, and evidence-based practices to support autistic children combined with inclusive best practice.
Katie Reed is a consultant with Including Autism. Katie is a leader in inclusive education supporting public education. She is an experienced teacher in inclusive and specialized settings as well as a Master of Counselling Psychology student. Katie has a strong background in assessment and intervention processes as well as engagement in professional research. She is adept in integrating theory, ethics and cultural diversity into her practice with individuals and groups. Katie has an open, appreciative and flexible attitude towards human diversity and works to advance equity through responsive practice.
