Dr. Chandra Lebenhagen is the founder and Executive Director of Including Autism. She received her doctorate in Curriculum and Learning from the University of Calgary. For over 20 years she has worked as a teacher, leader, and researcher in K-12 and post-secondary settings. Dr. Chandra offers informative presentations and in-school support on a broad range of topics that are of interest to jurisdictional leaders, educators, community practitioners, and scholars. She uses a multi-disciplinary perspective to inform her work with educators that includes critical disability theory, learning theory, psychoeducation, and inclusive best practice.
Katie Reed is a consultant with Including Autism. Katie is a leader in inclusive education supporting public education. She is an experienced teacher in inclusive and specialized settings as well as a Master of Counselling Psychology student. Katie has a strong background in assessment and intervention processes as well as engagement in professional research. She is adept in integrating theory, ethics and cultural diversity into her practice with individuals and groups. Katie has an open, appreciative and flexible attitude towards human diversity and works to advance equity through responsive practice.
